Death and transfiguration, Competition, Villeneuvette, France
This architectural competition aimed at requalifying the deserted village of Villeneuvette in southern France. This artistic intervention, which is deliberately provocative, aims at burying the entire village in a rock and ivy grass coffin. By accepting the decline of this place instead of fighting it, art is here used as an escape, a happy end for the village.
